i haven't been this high in a really, really long time and it feels awesome.

rona brought a new laptop home from her job!!!!! yaaaayy, goodbye ibm thinkpad from like 1997!!! (this is my new baby. innit pretty?!)

i am crushing SO FUCKING HARD GUYS it's not even funny. we worked an 8 hour shift together yesterday and fadskl;gjqerj i can't stop giggling over him. i feel like i'm in grade school.

the past few days have gone really well at work and i'm seeing more and more money everyday. everyone's just really fucking awesome and i'd have been so grateful for even a SHITTY job in this economy. loving this place (despite some bullshit of course, but it's all insignificant anyway) is such a bonus. if you're ever in westbury ny, come eat at p.f. chang's and leave me a fat tip.

it's taken me like a half hour to write this, that's how blazed i am. daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

Ryan's had it for about two years now (he bought it right before he started at Western). The only problem that we've had with it is recently IE just randomly stops working and has to be restarted. Also, iTunes stopped recognizing the CD drive (which I later found out was a problem with iTunes itself, not with the computer. I found a fix for it but now I can't burn CDs using iTunes, boo).

so basically...i use firefox and winamp? lol awesome! i found it on amazon for like $600 new which is pretty awesome. it's a nice laptop, i'm really enjoying it. oh ps, do you have any idea what the button centered above the mouse pad does? i can't figure it out.

Haha, yeah you could try those. :)

$600 isn't bad, but I think Ryan picked it up at Circuit City for $450. Is the one you're using the Presario F500? That's what we have. If the one you're using is a later model then that would explain the price difference.

If the button you're talking about does the same thing mine does, it turns your touchpad on and off. If the light's orange, the pad's off, and if it's blue, then it's on. Ours is always off because I hate touchpads so I use a real mouse.

no, this is the F730US....but $450 sounds better! i'll have to look into the F500.

i kind of thought it turned it on/off!! haha thanks for clarifying. :)

I just looked on Amazon and they don't even have the F500...so you might not be able to get it anymore? I dunno. But $600 definitely isn't bad. :D

lolol i happen to really like the thinkpad! but mine was second hand rebuilt like 875309 times and it crashes daily, so i'm extremely grateful for a computer that, you know, HAS a video card.
