i hate tinted windows and everything about them and i'm not sure how to interpret that.

I am not sure if I still like them as much as I initially did. I haven't downloaded all the new stuff so I am waiting for form an updated opinion after that.

I mean you don't have to like them..it's really nbd.

i waited till after i heard the whole album to make my judgment and i'm really glad i did, but i wish it didn't...sound like that. :/

I like them a lot. Like a real lot. Their recorded music, I think, is super good even if the harmonies when they perform live kind of suck. But I feel like T.hans dancing in the center of the stage makes up for that.

But, to each their own. There's nothing wrong with the fact that you don't like them. Not every Hanson fan has to love everything a Hanson does.

i haven't heard anything live (i think i'm gonna try to go see them in the city though, just because hello) so i can't judge the harmonies, but honestly i kind of just feel like it's TAYLOR'S voice i can live without. i'm probably also wondering what the hell is gonna happen to hanson...like will they take a backseat to this new shit? that i HATE? i'm worried.

You know the NYC show is sold out right? It sold out in like an hour lmao. You should come to bamboozle though because I will be there and so will Demi hahahah.

idk I don't think it bothers me because Taylor's voice has been going downhill for a long time now. Like, Taylor's voice used to be like butter and as the years go on it's more and more like nails on a chalkboard. BUT, he is Taylor Hanson and I still love him because I've been in love with him since I was 10. Like it's not Tinted Windows that's making Taylor's voice sound weird, it's Taylor's voice getting worse with time, imo.

Also, they've said many times (all of the people in TW) that Tinted Windows is IN ADDITION TO the bands those guys already perform with. None of them are leaving their main bands to be in tinted windows, it's more a "we'll get together and play whenever we're all free" kind of thing. Like they're really just doing it as a fun project, they're clearly not trying to make it big as "Tinted Windows". If anything TW could be a springboard to bring fans into the 4 bands that the guys play in separately.

I feel like there are a ton of Hanson fans that are flipping their shit (in a bad way) over Tinted Windows and it just makes ZERO sense to me. Like, it's just a collaboration among friends. They made a record and are playing a handful of shows, what's the harm in that? Just because his last name is Hanson doesn't mean that Taylor CAN'T work with other musicians besides his brothers.

This was a really long comment and I'm absolutely not meaning offense by anything I've said so please don't take it that way, it just frustrates me that so many people are seemingly freaking out over absolutely nothing.

haha yeah i know, but let's be real i'll find a way to get in if i really want to! and i hear you about taylor's voice. i'm glad YOU said something though because really i thought i was the only one thinking taylor's voice is becoming harder and harder to stand.

no offense taken, no worries! still though, i don't feel like i'm freaking out over nothing. this is something completely in a league of its own for the band i've followed so closely for so long and i'm just not sure how to react to it, especially because i don't like it. and i totally understand that i don't have to love OMG EVERYTHING a member of hanson ever does, but like...i HAVE loved everything (with some relatively minor exceptions) up till now. the fact that this is the FIRST time they're veering in a majorly new direction and i'm not only not enjoying it but not even LIKING it a little? just kind of causes some alarm in me, however trivial it may seem.

it def took me a while to accept it. I was in ~denial about it for a few weeks. But now I love it-- I can totally see how you wouldnt like it though. It goes both ways :]

lmao it is SO not the taylor i know. i think at first i was worried and like afraid of it but now i've embraced it. i miss i love Africa taylor :( idk maybe he's having a mid life (quarter life?) crisis or something and just needs to ~express himself this way.
